It doesn’t have to be Valentine’s Day to treat yourself! A rich chocolate ganache and a dollop of whipped cream can turn simple fresh fruit, pound cake, or vanilla ice cream (or all three at once!) into a celebration.
Open Hands Food Pantry began collecting donations in 1982 with one principle in mind: “Hunger is real”. The packing and distribution process takes place at St. John’s Church in Royal Oak, where families are encouraged to be a part of the program with no requirements necessary.
