Founded by Frank Germack Sr., an Armenian immigrant, the company began as part of the Armenian Import Company in New York City, where pistachios were first introduced to the American market. Frank and his brother John eventually moved to Detroit, establishing what is now one of the city’s most recognized and cherished brands.

For Chunk Nibbles, it all started with a beloved family recipe, lovingly crafted by Brad's Grandma Cuddy. The name itself pays homage to the handwritten note she left on her original recipe card, calling it “Chunk Nibbles.”
